Carl Spielvogel is chairman and chief executive officer of Carl Spielvogel Associates, Inc., an international investment and management company. Ambassador Spielvogel has been a member of our board of directors since February 1996, with a brief hiatus from August 2000 to April 2001, during which he served as the United States Ambassador to the Slovak Republic. Ambassador Spielvogel was chairman and chief executive officer of the United Auto Group, Inc., a publicly owned automobile dealership group, from February 1994 until April 1997. Ambassador Spielvogel currently serves on the board of directors of Apollo Investment Corp., a publicly owned investment company. |
