Vincent A. Chippari
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Vincent Chippari is senior vice president and chief financial officer for Interactive Data Corporation. He is responsible for all aspects of Interactive Data’s worldwide finance, including accounting, treasury, tax, financial planning and systems, and corporate MIS.
Mr. Chippari has more than 25 years of experience in financial and general management roles, including over 15 years experience as a chief financial officer in both public and private companies. Prior to joining Interactive Data, he served as chief financial officer of two private-equity backed pre-IPO technology businesses, FleetMatics Group and NameMedia, Inc., with responsibility for the financial management, accounting, tax, mergers and acquisitions, legal and human resource functions of the businesses.
Before NameMedia, Mr. Chippari was employed by The Thomson Corporation (now Thomson Reuters). He was chief strategy officer of Thomson Healthcare, responsible for corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions and business development. Previous positions Mr. Chippari held at Thomson included senior vice president and chief financial officer of Thomson Business Information from 1990-1996, a period when the group grew from $200 million to $1 billion in revenue, and executive vice president of operations of Thomson Intellectual Property Group.
From 1998-2004, he was executive vice president and chief financial officer of Information Holdings Inc., a NYSE-listed information solutions business where he had responsibility for finance, corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, tax and investor relations. Mr. Chippari has completed more than 30 M&A transactions, ranging from small tactical acquisitions to major strategic acquisitions and has led financial teams in companies with revenue from $30 million to $1 billion.
Mr. Chippari began his career as an auditor at Price Waterhouse. He is a CPA and holds degrees from Bryant University (BSBA) and the University of Connecticut (MBA).
