What is an evaluation?
An evaluation is our good faith opinion of the price a buyer in the marketplace would pay for a given security (typically in an institutional round lot position) in a current sale. Our evaluations represent an important input that can assist financial institutions in their efforts to value their holdings, particularly for fixed income securities, which may trade infrequently, if at all, in the secondary market.
