President, Sales and Marketing
In November 2008, Interactive Data Corporation announced that Raymond D’Arcy will succeed Stuart Clark as president and CEO of the Company upon Mr. Clark’s planned retirement in 2009.
In his current role as president of Interactive Data’s Sales and Marketing, Mr. D’Arcy leads the Company’s sales, marketing, key account management, business development and other service oriented functions focused on institutional clients. Mr. D’Arcy is also focused on refining and building a unified Interactive Data image and strategy across the Company’s institutional services segment. Mr. D’Arcy was named to this position in September 2005.
Prior to this, Mr. D’Arcy served as president of Data Delivery Products for Interactive Data Pricing and Reference Data, where he was responsible for leading the organization’s over $300 million data content business. In this position, he oversaw the North American and European sales, marketing and customer service divisions, as well as key product development, strategy and acquisition activities.
Mr. D'Arcy, who has worked at Interactive Data since 1979, first joined the company in its finance department before moving into the product management organization as director of the mutual funds business. He then served a decade as regional sales director for eastern North America. Afterward he became vice president of North American Sales, Marketing and Customer Support and then senior vice president of Global Sales, Marketing and Customer Support before assuming the position of president of Data Delivery Products in 2002.
Mr. D’Arcy earned his undergraduate degree in accounting from Boston College, where he was also the captain of the Ice Hockey team. He later obtained an MBA in finance from Babson College. |
